Now, instead, I run up the stairs in my home and then walk back down them. I do this 2 ways. I do it for time... 10 minutes non-stop... or I do it for 3 minutes at a time during commercials while I watch TV. I just use 5 different commercial breaks for a total of about 15 minutes.

Quick, simple... EFFECTIVE.

2. You need to eat things before your meals

What things? Vegetable/lentil soups or salads. Why? Because these fill you up and allow you to eat less calories at your meal. Since soups and salads fill you up on few calories, you end up saving yourself hundreds of calories with each meal you do this with. You'll end up ERASING OVER 10,000 calories a month... or 4 pounds.

May not seem like a lot, but you can easily do this month after month after month... while eating your favorite foods still. I think that's a pretty good deal.

All I ask is that you switch over the water to really cold and rinse off with that cold water for 15 seconds once you're done with your normal shower. Why do this crazy thing? It's all about making your body burn off body fat to warm itself up.

This is called thermogenesis. This is great because your body will do this extra fat burning for hours and hours.

We do want to note that we came across a series of independent consumer reviews for these soy bars and other soy products promoted by the company. It appears that not all consumers are impressed with these bars, and some even complained about the bars' taste. A number of these reviewers noted that they did not think that these bars led to any weight loss results. In addition, there were a few of the reviews that noted the high cost of this product and questioned whether or not these bars were worth it.

4. Snacks

Stick with apples and bananas. You can't go wrong with these. You have no excuses either since apples and bananas are easy to bring anywhere.

Burning belly fat is something that many people struggle with. I often get people going to all sorts of lengths with their diet and exercise programs that are simply not necessary for them to get results. In fact, many of the things people do can be detrimental to their results. These things are so common, it's almost like 'common gym knowledge' to end up doing the wrong exercises, not getting results and ending up with injuries.

I'll be blunt with you for the rest of the article just to spare you the BS.

My Exercise Program

Each week, I do at least 3 sessions of moderate to high intensity general cardiovascular exercise for my health, fitness, stamina and to help keep my body fat % down.

I will perform strength training sessions for my upper and lower body at least once per week, but mostly twice. Each time I exercise, I will ensure that I am only doing effective, muscle-fatiguing strength exercises. I will also make sure that I perform at least one of my 3 general cardiovascular sessions as an abs workout/cardio session.

My Diet

I don't eat a lot of crap. Basically, if you really want to know how I burn belly fat, I eat pretty good food. I don't focus much on counting calories because I believe that a healthy, raw-foods diet is the best way to eat.

I do have treats now and then and because my metabolism is in such good shape, I can afford to have treats here and there without it effecting my body fat percentage at all.

My Supplementation Program

Although I believe that eating raw, whole foods as close to their natural source as possible. I am also aware that many of our soils have been over-farmed which has resulted in a massive drop in mineral contents within (even organic) foods. I take a natural, organically derived, colloidal mineral supplement as well as a good quality multivitamin, fish oils, spirulina and antioxidants. This is something you should consider if you want to burn belly fat faster.

Here are 4 healthy snacks for weight loss. Look, I'm going to skip over your meals for now and focus on snacks because a lot of the damage you do to your weight loss efforts happens between meals. You get hungry and you're forced into eating some type of convenient junk food just to settle down your stomach. 1. String cheese

I like this choice because of it's protein. Plus, it does a good job of tiding over my hunger. Even though it's small, it kinda fills me up. It doesn't have a lot of calories either. It's worth considering for you. I eat at least 1 of these a day... usually.

2. Beef Jerky

This has a bit more calories, so be careful. But other than that, it's a good protein source as well. Take a few pieces and get to work chewing on them. They're tough... so it will require some effort.

3. Low calorie yogurts

I get the 33 cent ones from Wal-Mart that have only 80 calories in them. This is working out good. Again, another good protein source snacks. Although these have aspartame (not good) and a higher carb content, the protein helps to minimize any blood sugar spikes. So you're alright here.

4. Apples

Probably the best snack of all. You get 5 grams of fiber and a lot of nutrition. Obviously they fill you up. That has to do with the high water content... as well as the fiber. Eat 2 of these a day... but shoot for 3.

Eat these 4 healthy snacks for weight loss everyday and I'm pretty sure you'll be losing a bunch of weight very soon.

Ok, 2 simple options there. Forget the typical cereals, forget skipping breakfast, and forget just having coffee for breakfast. None of that works for weight loss. You need something that has protein it it and something that fills you up. Both of my options above fit that criteria. Make it happen!

2. For lunch have a protein shake and a soup or salad

You can pre-make the protein shake in the morning if making one at lunchtime isn't convenient for you. Just make it and then put in a shaker bottle. When you're ready to eat lunch, shake it up and drink. This combo will fill you up really good without many calories. Just make sure the soup and salads have just vegetables in them... although you can add a protein to them if you want.

3. Dinner... eat only lean meats and vegetables

You get protein and you get your vegetables. What more can you ask for. Each night you can switch up both the meat you use and the vegetables. The only thing I want to warn against is using potatoes since they're a very starchy carb that is bad for you.

Before I succeeded with losing 85 pounds and keeping it off, I had tried and failed with so many diets that I lost count. It was discouraging and depressing. I started asking myself...what was different about the last time? What did it finally take for me to succeed?

The answer can be applied to weight loss or any other goal.

It all really comes down to "How badly do you want it?"

It's said that if you have a strong enough "Why" then you can figure out the "How".

You must want your goal so badly that you are willing to make the changes necessary to make it happen. But you will have one major obstacle to get over. We humans do not like change. We prefer comfort. Our brains are wired that way.

Now comfort is fine as long as what you are doing is giving you the results you want. But if it isn't, then you will need to change. You'll need to take actions daily that will lead you to the results you're after. Change can be uncomfortable at the beginning. And it takes time before your actions yield results.

If your "Why" is not strong enough, then you will end up quitting when it feels uncomfortable. You will also end up quitting because you will become impatient and think that the results are taking too long.

If you have failed in losing weight, then do what I did. Find a "Why" that really matters to you. Usually, "I want to look good" is not enough. What do you value?

Do you value your marriage? Then why will improving your health make you a better wife and lover to your husband?
Do you value your children? Then why will improving your health make you a better parent and teacher to your children?
Do you value your relationship with God? Then why will improving your health impact your ability to fulfill His purpose for your life?

Do you see what I mean? If you can tie why your efforts will improve those areas in your life that you value, then that "Why" will keep you going on your most challenging days. Here's how to lose a jean size in a week or possibly less. I'm not going to ask you to completely torture yourself in the gym or in the kitchen. This only requires small adjustments. You may actually be doing these things, but with the adjustments I'm about to share with you, you're going to get much better and quicker results.

1. Do bodyweight squats

Ok, maybe you're doing these or maybe you're doing squats with a barbell. Here's what you want to do to make this a great fat loss exercise. Do these fast... FAST. For beginners, have a goal of say 100 total squats. To get there, do 20-25 squats as fast as you can. Lean a little bit forward while keeping your back straight. You should feel this great in your butt.

Touch the ground when in the lower position. Never cheat this movement by not squatting down far enough.

Try for 4 sets of 25 reps. Rest 45-60 seconds between sets. Total time will be less than 7 minutes. Your legs, lungs, and butt will get most of the benefits from this. Because this creates an oxygen deficit due to it's speed, this is great for burning off fat from your waist, hips, and legs. Do these everyday.

2. Eat eggs often

I hope you didn't buy into the "egg scare" years ago. What nonsense. Eggs are perhaps the best thing you can eat... and they DON'T raise your cholesterol. Eggs are known to have the highest quality protein of all foods. That may be debatable, but just know this. Eggs are good for you and they're great for weight loss.

The best thing to do is eat them in the morning... which is convenient since they're considered a breakfast food. But you may also want to consider eating them at lunch and dinner sometimes. I usually eat 4 meals a day... and 2 of them have eggs in them.

Do these 2 things and there's a good chance you'll be able to lose a jean size in a week.

Ok, this is technically called the "vacuum pose". To be a little technical here, crunches and situps rely on "concentric tension". The vacuum pose relies on the SUPERIOR "isometric tension". This type of tension within your abdominals will help to flatten your abs way better and way faster.

It's simple. Suck in your belly for 3-5 seconds. Stop, rest 3-5 seconds. Then repeat.

You can do these whenever and wherever... standing, sitting, or lying down. I prefer to do them standing up. I would like for you to do these for 5-10 minutes non-stop. However, I know you're probably busy and may have a hard time fitting that in. In that case, just do them "here and there" throughout the day. 1-2 of them every once in awhile. It adds up.

2. Use "snack manipulation" diet tricks

Ok, here's the thing about snacks. Judging from my clients, it's much easier to manipulate your diet and attain healthier eating by changing your snacks. This in turn will have a "ripple effect" on your meals when done right. Combined, this spells out great results for weight loss... FOR YOU.

Ideal snack manipulation... eat snacks that are high in protein or fiber.

Why? Because they either fill you up and or boost the metabolism NATURALLY. Ideal choices include string cheese, low calorie yogurts, apples, and beef jerky. Those 4 things give you plenty of variety and they're very portable to take anywhere.
