Workouts to Promote Rapid Weight Loss by 11 Chris_Guthrie

Lots of people want to lose weight, and lots of people fail at this. Why? There are many reasons for this; however one big factor is exercise, or lack of it!

There is no need to join any expensive gyms, run miles everyday or pump iron until you feel like passing out. Using weights is a very effective body toning method but most people don't know how to use them effectively for weight loss.

A very effective way to use weights to fight the flab is circuit training. This involves using a pair of light dumbells and doing several repetitions of an exercise for a set amount of time or number of repetitions before immediately moving onto the next exercise. No expensive gym equipment is needed to do this and you can do it in the privacy of your own home. This method is hard work but is very effective, as it has the effect of speeding up your metabolism and also get your heart beating.

Exercises using your bodyweight only can also be used, for example press ups, dips, squats etc. these are very effective as they use large muscle groups which are very good at working the whole body. The benefit to this is that hormones are released which not only help assist weight loss but also build lean muscle tissue.

This is just an introduction to circuit training for weight loss, I will follow this up in more detail shortly and suggest a programme you can use to do in your own home and start toning up and losing weight quickly!
